School of Education
Xavier University is a Jesuit Catholic institution focused on preparing students to impact a changing world. The School of Education (SOE) prepares educators who intentionally and reflectively engage in the changing global communities that are empowered to serve and lead throughout a rewarding career in Education.
- Individualized advising, small class sizes, and unique interdisciplinary experiences enable candidates to achieve their academic and professional goals.
- Clinical field experiences with school and community partners allow candidates to engage in experiential learning inside and outside of the classroom with their peers and mentors.
- Teachers, educational leaders, and scholars are recruited for their expertise and experiences.
- Faculty are mission-driven, educational experts who create lasting relationships with students.
- Candidates have opportunities to participate in the mission of Xavier in numerous ways through study abroad, alternative breaks, campus and community organizations, virtual international experiences, and community engagement in coursework.
Xavier graduates experience success and stay connected beyond graduation - working and continuing education in their chosen fields. Our alumni provide various forms of leadership within their spheres of influence: school, church, community, and volunteer organizations. In the spirit of St. Ignatius, our programs inspire teachers and educational leaders to guide children, critically examine schooling, and act with integrity, justice, and generosity while changing the world together.
In order to meet the financial needs of our students, we would like to offer scholarships to support our undergraduate students. All donated money will go directly to students' scholarships. The School of Education appreciates any amount that you are able to donate. Thank you for your support, and Go X!
